"I'm 31 and have been attending the Gorilla pit for about 5 months now. Before that my training mainly consisted of weights training 3 times a week with the odd 20 minute cardio session thrown in here and there. I tried a few boxing classes and one boot camp class which I liked but didn't feel I was being pushed to a level that I wanted to reach. Also I was after something that would complement my strength training. Some boot camp classes help you lose weight and improve condition but my strength started to suffer.

In Dec 2010, I was suffering from an inflamed sciatic nerve caused by excess weight around my waist. I’m 30 years old and it was stopping me from playing the sport I love, soccer.
